Southern Queensland Landscapes (SQL) needed to condense a comprehensive 27-page report on the Blackfish Recovery Strategy in the Murray Darling Basin into a concise, engaging, and accessible format. The goal was to raise public awareness about river health, advocate for ongoing funding, and inspire action among local landholders and community groups in the Killarney area. The materials also needed to highlight collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure relevance and impact.
We designed a visually engaging 2-page digital fact sheet that distilled the key findings, recommendations and a case study. To complement this, we created a 900 x 600 Corflute design for outdoor visibility and developed A4 and A1 printed flyers for wider distribution. The materials presented complex data in an easy-to-digest format, focusing on the importance of public advocacy, sustainable water planning, and actionable steps for landholders. This suite of resources ensured SQL’s message was accessible, impactful, and positioned to drive community support for ongoing recovery efforts.
