The Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) sought to launch the inaugural Gatton AgTech Showcase, part of the Queensland Government’s Smart Farms initiative. Designed to bring together growers, agribusiness providers, and students, the event aimed to showcase the latest AgTech innovations to improve farming practices. As the first event of its kind in the region, DAF needed support in planning and executing the showcase, along with creating engaging media content to promote its success. Additionally, they required tools for monitoring and evaluation (M&E) to capture attendee feedback and assess the event’s impact for securing future funding.
Event Planning and Execution: We worked with DAF to organise and execute the event, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees and exhibitors.
Video Content: We produced a 3-minute video featuring interviews with growers and exhibitors paired with vision of day one, to highlight the event’s significance and practical value. Additionally, we created three 30-second social media cuts with standout moments to inspire trust in DAF’s leadership in AgTech and encourage attendance at future events. We also supplied a graded cut to be supplied to local news outlets for broadcasting.
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E): To help DAF evaluate the event’s success, we conducted 15 audio-only interviews with attendees, capturing authentic feedback to inform future improvements and funding applications.
High-Resolution Imagery: We delivered 15 professional still images that showcased the event’s energy, collaboration, and focus on agricultural innovation, providing assets for DAF’s promotional and reporting needs.
